Morphos Homes started out of my desire to transform my own life. After six years in the financial industry, I wound up staying home with my newborn because of health issues. There wasn’t another option, and the life I was looking at was a much different path than I’d imagined. When a friend offered me the chance to help her clean houses, I took the opportunity to get back to work and build up my skills. I learned the transformative power of a clean space and I loved what I was bringing to all these people who were able to get some help around the house. It’s really so simple and at the same time so truly instrumental to giving folks some space and time in their lives. I juggled being a single-mom, full-time employee and full-time student, and now I am running a cleaning company with a growing team of eleven. With my three daughters and puppy, I feel pretty darn content these days, but I haven’t forgotten the harder times. I was left with the understanding that wherever anyone is in their life, they deserve empathy. There’s clarity in a clean home.
